Astrological houses divide the chart into twelve sectors associated with areas of life. The sign on a house cusp and planets within a house are interpreted together. Different house systems can place cusps differently.

Why birth time matters
House positions depend heavily on birth time and location. If the birth time is unknown, house interpretations and the Ascendant may be unreliable.
